3 Things I Want to Learn in 2018

Skills are really handy in your day-to-day life and make fab little side projects. Up until I was 21, I followed quite an academic path and I don't see myself as having many 'skills'. So since graduating in 2016, I have had this urge to fill my head with as much knowledge and learn as many things as possible.

Last year, I started to learn how to drive, I learnt the basics of crocheting and how to successfully (for the most part) get my laundry dry in a tiny house. For 2018, I want to...

...Try watercolour.

Obviously, this isn't the most 'practical' choice, but I still want to try it out. I have always had an interest in painting and art, but, as an adult, I've not had the courage or time to sit down and do it. Watercolouring seems like a nice way to ease myself in, don't you think?

...Learn basic code.

To my surprise, I have ended up working alongside a lot of 'techies'. They all seem to know everything there is to know about computers, coding and other cool stuff. To even more of my surprise, I've managed to pick some of this knowledge up. One thing I've been meaning to (or rather putting off) learning is basic code. So, 2018 is going to be the year that I do this... I think.

And, finally, be able to drive.

I've been learning how to drive for as long as I can remember but I am determined to actually pass my test this year. I can just about drive, I just need to polish a few things like not almost killing myself at round-a-bouts.
